Pink Beans Batch 4

Cooking Instructions

Presoak the beans overnight. Drain the water off.

Dice the onion. Melt the butter in the pot or Dutch oven. Sauté the onion in the butter till translucent. Add the seasonings except salt.

Mix the onions and seasonings and sauté 3 minutes. Add half the chicken broth and beans to the pot, with the onion. Bring to a simmer and add the rest of the broth. Cover and simmer till tender.

Cook till tender add salt at the end 30 minutes of cooking. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!

I been having issues with gas build up of the food I have eaten. So I used this Asafetida powder and it didn't bother me with eating beans in my Chili. No gas attacks. It's been used since the time of the Roman Empire. It was used also as an onion and garlic substitute. By the way you can make it without the hot chili's for the kids. -
