Chicken suya skewers
A perfect way to enjoy your fleshy chicken breast.
Cooking Instructions

Soak the skewers in water to prevent them from burning while the chicken cooks. Use a sharp knife to slice the chicken breast into thin flat pieces. Tread the chicken into the skewers.

In a mixing bowl, combine all spices and seasoning with vegetable oil to make a paste. Generously coat the chicken with the paste and place in the fridge to marinate for at least an hour or overnight.

On medium flame, place a non stick pan or grill pan. Grease with vegetable oil and pan grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes per side. Preheat your oven.

Grill the skewers in a preheated oven for about 5-7minutes. Serve warm. Enjoy😍

I'm going to make chicken two different ways in this post. This chicken would be really good on the bbq but as the whether is not great here in the uk you have to come up with different ways of having your favourite foods. Personally I prefer the fried chicken as the grilled chicken loses some of its flavour, I would suggest marinating the chicken over night if you are going to do skewers. Hi, I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I have this great Chicken Souvlaki or Kalamaki recipe, which actually translates into Chicken on a stick. Hmm, anyway in Greece when you go to a Soulvaki Fast Food store, (I call it a fast food store because it’s all put together rather quickly), you can either order the usual Pork souvlaki with pita, or you can order (which I personally prefer), Pork or Chicken Kalamaki along with bread which has been dipped into lemon-oregano-salt-pepper sauce. YummmmmmyyyyWhat I usually do is leave the chicken in the marinade sauce overnight in the refrigerator. This makes the chicken tender and absorbs all the aromas from the ingredients that have been added into it. Foodzesty -
