Ingredients

  1. 2 cansgarbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  2. 4 cupsstock
  3. 29 ozcrushed tomatoes
  4. 2bay leaves
  5. 1 Tbspturbinado sugar
  6. 2 TbspEVOO
  7. 2large carrots, chopped
  8. 2celery stalks, chopped
  9. 2 clovesgarlic, smashed
  10. 1 tspcumin
  11. 1 tsppaprika
  12. 1 Tbspdried basil
  13. 1 tspsea salt
  14. 1 Tbspsoy sauce
  15. 2 Tbsptomato paste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on low for 4 hours.

    Use hand blender to puree soup to desired consistency

  3. 3

    Serve with parmesan and fresh basil, and a good, crusty bread.
