Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel and wash all Onions and then cut vertically very thin slices. Now separate the slices with hands to make onion thin strands.
- 2
Now in a big plate add all the sliced onions add to it - chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder and Ajwain give it a good mix with the help of your hands and rest it for half and hour.
- 3
After half an hour onions will ooze out water since we have added Salt to it, now add gram flour (Besan) and rice flour (refer quantities in ingredients mentioned above). Give it a good mix with the help of your hands. No need to add extra water to make batter. Check Salt if less add more. Onion Fritter batter is ready.
- 4
Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying Fritters. Add a drop of batter to check temperature of oil. Keep the gas on high flame start adding Pakoda dumplings. Now after a minute flip the Pakodas and fry for another half a minute now reduce the gas flame to low and let the Pakodas cook for another 4-5 mins. Once done take out it on Kitchen towel. Serve hot crunchy Onion Fritters with your favourite chutney, ketchup but my personal favourite pick is Ginger Tea so I opt for that.
