Ingredients

  1. 3 cupsflour
  2. 7 tablespoonssugar + 2 teaspoons for proofing
  3. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  4. 1/4 teaspoonnutmeg (optional)
  5. 2 teaspoonsdry yeast
  6. 1 1/2 cuplukewarm water

Cooking Instructions

    Proof the yeast. The water used should be measured from the water for the mixture.

    Add the dry ingredients and combine

  3. 3

    Mix wet and dry ingredients and cover to rise

  4. 4

    Deflate and mix again

  5. 5

    Scoop and deep fry in hot oil. You can also use ice cream scoop instead of hand.
