Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 cupsflour
  2. 2 tspyeast
  3. 1/4 cupsugar
  4. 190 mlmilk(luke warm)
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 1egg
  7. 1/4 cupbutter
  8. 1 cupsugar for coating

Cooking Instructions

    Sieve the flour in a bowl, add sugar and salt, mix together.

    Pour milk in a different bowl and add the yeast, allow it to rest for 5-7 minutes.

    Add yeast mixture into the flour mixture then add beaten egg and Mix together to make a dough. Sprinkle some flour onto working surface add butter to the dough and knead. Knead for atleast 10 minutes. Let it rest for atleast 1 hour.

    After one hour knead the dough and cut it into portions. Take a portion and roll into a cord then make a circle with the cord and twist around the center. Repeat same process till you're done.

    Let the doughnut rest for 10 minutes and fry on medium flame till golden brown.

    When you're done frying the doughnut sugar coat them when they're still warm.

  7. 7

    Serve!
