Chocolate Cranberry Fudge Cake
A few years ago, my work donated to employees Thanksgiving Day baskets. Inside was a can of cranberry sauce. I'm not a fan but don't like food to go to waste. On the back of the can was this cake recipe, and I said, "Why not." I liked this cake so much, I now make it every year. #KeepRecipesAlive

Yellow Cake from Scratch
#CA2025 I was making a birthday cake and needed a box of yellow cake mix. No yellow cake mix and it is pouring rain so I’m not going out. Yellow cake recipe to the rescue and it is a winner. I wanted a three layer cake and I am not so good with horizontal cutting so I divided the mix to three pans and cut bake time to 18 minutes.

Delicious Apple Cake in a Bread Maker
I was looking for cake recipes to make every week since I like to bake something on Sundays. I couldn't decide, so I went with the classic yogurt-measured cake but made some changes in the quantities and added apples. It turned out amazing, the best I've ever made. Very fluffy and moist, it didn't last long even though I'm the only one with a sweet tooth and I'm maintaining my diet, so I only had a small piece. I made it in a bread maker, but it can also be done by hand and then baked in the oven. I always sift the flour, but this time I didn't, and it turned out better than ever.

Cinnamon & Walnut Bundt Cake
Hello everyone, yesterday turned out to be quite a busy day for me, from food shopping for different recipes, walking Charlie, catching up with some friends on Skype that I have not spoken to in a while, and working on different projects which are all just very exciting. 🙂 Easter is coming up very quickly, well for us our Easter (Greek Easter) is on April 8th, so we have a couple of more weeks. I am hoping to make the traditional Greek Cookies that we have during Easter time. (My arm has been acting up on me again with all the weather changes and it has been strapped up with a band)Come to think of it the Easter Cookie recipe is how I actually met my blogging buddy, and dear friend Dee dee from Invisible-no-more. I had just started blogging and I was searching for blogs that expressed what I was interested in and I came across Dee dee’s. Some of Dee dee’s post were so funny and some so touching, that I commented on one of them and she replied. 🙂 Dee dee asked me if I had a recipe for the Greek Easter Cookies…I sent the recipe and she made them last year & posted them on her blog, the cookies looked so good!!Dee dee has a special place in my heart. 🙂I wasn’t going to do any cooking today, I had some leftover Pastichio that I had made so I was just going to bake a cake. 🙂 The cake started out as a basic Vanilla Cake but I ended up adding Cinnamon and Walnuts, don’t ask why I just felt like I should add something more than just Vanilla. :)

Chocolate & Vanilla Marble Cake
I have been following the trends for 2018 in regards to cooking, not only for the Greek Cuisine but all cuisines and baking…there is one that I am so interested in trying…(The Japanese Cheese Cake), but some I am thinking No, due to lack of ingredients. 🙂 Some are just absolutely beautiful….have you seen the new trends for cupcake design just so pretty. 🙂Due to the cold front I mentioned the other day I have not been to the supermarket and so I went back into my pantry this morning and came out with ingredients for a really nice if I may use the word Vintage recipe for Marble Cake…:) Chocolate and Vanilla swirled together to make this simple but yet delicious cake which I think most of us do love to eat. 🙂

Egg Cake in a Convection Oven: A Very Simple Recipe for Beginners
Today, let's make an egg cake. I usually find egg cakes a bit complicated, but I came across a Japanese video featuring a Taiwanese castella cake. It seemed easy and resulted in a soft, fluffy cake. Importantly, this method reduces the risk of the cake becoming dense. I didn't adjust the recipe this time; after testing it, I found it works well. So, I'm sharing the method in Thai and using a convection oven.

Semolina Cake
I came across this recipe on the internet when I was looking for semolina cake recipe. In my first attempt I followed the recipe step by step, but unfortunately the cake turned out very dry. So, I made orange syrup and poured it on top, I thought the syrup would make the cake moist. The cake was nice and moist with orange syrup, but it had to be eaten as quick as possible, because it turned bad the next day.So, in this recipe I have made some adjustments where I reduced the amount of flour and sugar in it and added extra almond powder. I used orange juice instead of milk and added orange zest. The cake turned out very nice, moist with slightly orange flavored.

Moist and Fluffy Matcha Sponge Cake
I made this matcha sponge cake to make a matcha dome cake.If the warm water to warm the milk and butter cools down, make sure to bring it back to approximately 60℃. You shouldn't mix too much at step 10, but if you don't mix it just right, the butter will sink. You could use regular letter paper instead of parchment paper. For 18 cm [7.1 in] cake pan.
