Cooking Instructions

Measure and sift flour in a bowl

Add sugar

Add the baking powder and salt. If using salted butter you can skip adding it or add just a pinch

Add the cold butter

Mix until crumbly in texture. Add the egg and remain a little to brush top. Mix all over again

Now, add the cold milk in the middle of the dry ingredients

Mix until a soft and inelastic dough is formed.

Dust some flour on your work surface and place the dough. Spread with your hands about 1½inch thick and cut out a round shape using a cutter or round object

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper egg wash, put in oven and bake until top is lightly brown

And your scones are ready. Enjoy!
