It's so easy to make...

If you mince the curry roux beforehand, it dissolves quickly making it easier to cook. If you don't have cherry tomatoes or tomatoes, just use ketchup. This is easy to make with veggies you have at home. Recipe by Peko

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 300 gramsMinced pork
  2. 1Onion
  3. 50 gramsCarrot
  4. 2Green bell peppers
  5. 1Shiitake mushrooms
  6. 1 cloveand 1 piece each Garlic and ginger
  7. 10Cherry tomatoes
  8. 200 mlWater
  9. 1※ Consome bouillon cubes
  10. 1to 2 cubes ※ Japanese curry roux mix
  11. 1 tbspCurry powder
  12. 3 tbsp※ Sake
  13. 1 tbsp※ Worcestershire sauce
  14. 1 tspSoy sauce
  15. 1optional ※ Garam masala, cumin, coriander seeds, etc.

Cooking Instructions

    Chop all vegetables finely. Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the garlic and ginger.

    When the ingredients in Step 1 become fragrant, add the meat and continue to cook. Then add all vegetables and stir-fry.

    When it's cooked thoroughly, stir in the ※ ingredients. Simmer briefly, and serve when it's nice and thick.

    I topped it with a soft poached egg.

    I received this as a gift. It's useful for making onsen tamago (soft poached eggs) so easily.
