Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsbasmati rice
  2. 1 cupgreen peas
  3. 1 cupbeans
  4. 1/2 cupsliced carrot
  5. 1/2 cupsliced onion
  6. 2bay leaves
  7. 1 inchcinnamon stick
  8. 1big cardamom
  9. 3 tbspdesi ghee
  10. 1 Slicelemon
  11. 4slited green chillies
  12. to taste salt
  13. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  14. 1 cuppalak( spinach) puree

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rice in water.chop all veggies.blanch spinach and make puree

  2. 2

    Heat deep pan,add big cardamom, green chillies,bay leaves, cinnamon, sliced onion and saute.

    Add carrots and green peas,val beans,saute,add ginger garlic paste.add palak puree,saute add soaked rice mix well add salt and water. Cook on medium heat until boemes soft.add salt

    Squeeze lemon juice,again add 1tspoon desi ghee.serve hot with papad and raita.
