Mushy peas are best served on firm bread like melba toast, or crusty French breads, and so on. Also good on potatoes, and meats. Also good served straight up.

Ingredients

  1. 28 ouncesmushy peas in cans
  2. 2 slicesbread
  3. To taste mint
  4. 3 tablespoonsbutter
  5. To taste salt
  6. To taste ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Melt the butter in a pot. Add in the mushy peas add salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Toast the bread and cut into quarters.

  3. 3

    Add the mushy peas to top of toast quarters. Sprinkle with chopped mint. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
