Spring Cabbage Coleslaw

This is a standard dish in my house. It's also nice made with vegetable oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and mustard. It's easy to make with mayonnaise, sushi vinegar and black pepper.

You don't have to add salt in Step 2 if you are using spring cabbage.
Adjust the amount of sugar and mayonnaise to your liking.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1/4Spring cabbage
  2. 1/4Red onion (small)
  3. 2 sliceHam
  4. 3 tbsp★Mayonnaise
  5. 2 tsp★Vegetable oil
  6. 1 tsp★Sugar
  7. 1 tsp★Vinegar
  8. 1 tsp★Lemon juice
  9. 2 pinch★Salt
  10. 1★Black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Julienne the cabbage and ham. Thinly slice the onion and sprinkle with salt. Soak it in water then squeeze out the moisture.

  2. 2

    Put the cabbage in a bowl and sprinkle on a bit of salt (not listed). Squeeze out the moisture when it has wilted.

  3. 3

    Put the cabbage, onion and ham in a bowl and mix in the ingredients marked ★.
