*Easy Delicious and Addictive! Tuna & Cucumber*

cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp
Since my friend taught me how to recreate this Japanese pub dish, it has become a regular dish in our house.
During the summer it might be better to chill it well before eating. Recipe by ne-ne
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Roughly chop the cucumbers (I recommend rough chopping, they keep their fresh and crisp texture this way).
- 2
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix. If you want a spicy kick, add ra-yu chili oil or Tabasco.
- 3
You can eat it straight away, but if you chill if for a while in the fridge, the flavours will penetrate the cucumber better.
- 4
User "Nikoniko Egao" made this with cucumber slices. ♬

The ponzu is the secret ingredient! Please try it over rice as in Step 5.-Ripened avocado will taste better.-Lemon juice is used to prevent the avocado from discoloring and also to pre-season it. I sprinkled on 5 drops of Pokka brand's lemon juice.-Since it's an easy and quick recipe, there is no hint in particular. Recipe by melonty

I usually have tuna salad ready for my week for a quick snack on crackers or a sandwich for lunch. But I was getting a little tired of the same old tuna salad with mayo, etc. I thought, I make a really good Asian Cucumber Salad...what if I combined the two!?! So, after adjusting everything to include the tuna and not overpower that flavor, I think this works really nicely and is a refreshing change of pace.

Onion and Tuna Salad
My family eat a lot of raw onion salad for our health, since raw onions are supposed to be good for you. Our two favorites are sliced onion salad and this tuna salad. The onion is soaked in water to remove the harshness, but it'll lose its nutrients if you soak it for too long, so soak it for about 2 to 3 minutes. For 3 to 4 servings. Recipe by FarmersK

Tomato Tuna Salad
I learned a recipe like this a long time ago in cooking school. It's an elegant little salad you can make with everyday ingredients.Use great tasting tomatoes. If you aren't confident that you can slice your tomatoes cleanly, using a serrated bread will make it easier. The parsley will change color if you mix it into the dressing, so it's best to add it just before serving. For 2 servings. Recipe by Setsubunhijiki
