Cooking Instructions
- 1
Here are the ingredients. I also used a red bell pepper that I got cheaply from the market.
- 2
Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and soak in cold water for about 20 minutes to crisp.
- 3
Prepare any other vegetables. I sliced the pepper into thin strips.
- 4
Use a knife to pound the natto to break up the beans. Add the soy sauce and mix it in. (If you bought chopped natto, you don't have to pound it.)
- 5
Mix in the sesame oil.
- 6
Lastly, mix in the vinegar
- 7
Blot the lettuce dry with a paper towel and arrange on a plate (with any other veggies). Pour the natto dressing over it and it's done.

‘Nuta’ Spring Onion Salad With Miso Dressing ‘Nuta’ Spring Onion Salad With Miso Dressing
‘Nuta’ is a type of Japanese vinegared dish that is dressed with sweet miso sauce. Most commonly Japanese Green Onions are used, but I have no option here in Melbourne but to use Spring Onions. Seafood such as Octopus, Squid and Clams are popular addition to ‘Nuta’. Today I used Squid Tentacles, but my favourite is Octopus Tentacles, that is too hard to find where I leave. Hiroko Liston -

Japanese Seaweed Salad with Sesame & Miso Dressing Japanese Seaweed Salad with Sesame & Miso Dressing
Japanese seaweed salad with sesame and miso dressing is a quick and very refreshing recipe which is perfect to eat during the hot summer weather. I will share with you two different ways to prepare this salad. One with Japanese mustard greens (mizuna); and one with cucumber, red leaf lettuce and tomato.35 years ago in Japan, I was introduced to the Japanese seaweed salad(Kaisou Sarada in Japanese) and fell in love with this dish. An authentic Japanese seaweed salad is not the same as those you get in the Japanese restaurant in the State. Salad with Strawberry Dressing Served in a Noodle Basket Salad with Strawberry Dressing Served in a Noodle Basket
I made this recipe using a photo in an American magazine as reference. Strawberry dressing is sold in cans, but every brand I've tried has too much balsamic vinegar for my taste, killing the flavor of the strawberries. So I made a dressing with the proportions I like. It's an easy yet really delicious dressing that I'm very proud of.Choose a flat pasta-type like linguine or fettuccine for the noodle basket. Drain the boiled pasta very well, and then stick onto the surface of a bowl. Don't rinse the pasta or it will not stick. Don't forget to brush the surface of the bowl with oil. If you want the dressing to be richer, add olive oil. I recommend young baby spinach leaves. For 2 servings. Recipe by Yukirinrin cookpad.japan -

The vegetables are very hot just out of the microwave, so be careful. If you're having this as a hot salad, warm the bowl over hot water for a while, it will be even hotter and nicer. Please adjust the microwaving time according to your liking. For 2-3 servings. Recipe by John Lee Cooker cookpad.japan -

I made this when I was out of dressing. It was really good, so I've been relying on it ever since. This is also good with mizuna greens or green bell peppers instead of cucumber. If you leave it standing for too long the tofu will start to exude moisture, so I recommend making it just before you plan to eat it.
