Ingredients

  1. For Potato Stuffing
  2. 3-4medium potatoes – boiled and mashed
  3. 1-2green chilies – chopped finely
  4. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoonajwain
  7. 2-3 teaspoonsfinely chopped coriander leaves – optional
  8. salt as required
  9. oil or ghee, as required for roasting parathas
  10. For Paratha Dough
  11. 2 cupswhole wheat flour
  12. 1/2 teaspoonsalt or add as required
  13. 1 tablespoonoil or ghee
  14. water as required for kneading

Cooking Instructions

    Making Potato Stuffing:
    First boil the potatoes and peel them. Chop and then mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Now add the chopped green chilies, garam masala powder, red chili powder, ajwain and salt. Mix well.

    Kneading Dough:
    In another bowl or pan, take whole wheat flour (atta).
    Add salt, oil and about half of the water and knead into a smooth soft dough. Cover and keep the dough aside for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Pinch small balls from the dough. Flatten them and dust with whole wheat flour, roll them, place the potato stuffing in the center.

    Roll it and cook from both sides.

    Serve it immediately.
