Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash and peel the radishes, then grate them and mix with salt. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Squeeze out all the water. Finely chop the onions, green chilies, and cilantro.
- 2
Take the flour in a large bowl and add the radish, onions, green chilies, cilantro, cumin seeds, asafoetida, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. Add oil and mix thoroughly. Gradually add water to knead a semi-soft dough and cover it for 10 minutes.
- 3
After 10 minutes, grease your hands and knead the dough to make it smooth. Make lemon-sized balls and roll them out slightly thicker than regular parathas using dry flour.
- 4
Place on a hot griddle. When light spots appear on one side, flip it. Apply ghee or oil and cook until both sides are lightly golden. Serve the hot radish and onion parathas with yogurt, chutney, pickles, or tea.
