  1. Mujadara. 2 cups lentils
  2. 2 cupscoarse bulgur
  3. 3large onions
  4. 2 tablespoonsolive oil
  5. Salt
  6. Fattoush. 4 cucumbers
  7. 4tomatoes
  8. 10lettuce leaves
  9. Piecered cabbage
  10. Piecewhite cabbage
  11. Bunchpurslane
  12. Bunchparsley
  13. Bunchmint leaves
  14. Bunchthyme leaves
  15. 1sweet bell pepper
  16. 1sweet onion
  17. 2 clovesgarlic
  18. You can add some or more vegetables as available
  19. 2 tablespoonspomegranate molasses
  20. 2 tablespoonsolive oil
  21. 1 tablespoonwhite vinegar
  22. Juice of half a lemon
  23. Pinchsumac
  24. Salt

    For the Mujadara
    Wash the lentils well, then cover with water and cook until done, adjusting the salt
    Add the bulgur after washing it well
    Chop the onions to medium size and fry in olive oil until golden, then add to the lentils and bulgur
    Cover the pot and cook for about half an hour

    For the Fattoush
    Chop all the vegetables to medium size
    Crush the garlic and add lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, vinegar, sumac, and oil
    Mix the dressing well and toss with the vegetables
