I tried making mixed rice with bean sprouts and it turned out delicious!

Did you adjust the amount of water? The bean sprouts will let out some moisture, so toss out a bit of the water! If you like spicy foods, try adding some powdered red chili pepper. Recipe by Silvy1978

  14. 1 tbsp△Gochujang
  15. 1 tbsp△Toasted white sesame seeds
  16. 1 tbsp△Sesame oil
  17. 1Green onions

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

These are the only ingredients for today's dish. You can use inexpensive beef!

  2. 2

Wash and drain the bean sprouts. If you have nothing better to do, go ahead and trim the ends. This will affect the texture.

  3. 3

Wash and drain the rice and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

  4. 4

Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces, then add the finely chopped garlic.

  5. 5

    Add all the marinating ingredients...

  6. 6

mix it up with your hands...

  7. 7

and sauté it in the frying pan.

  8. 8

Return the rice to the rice pot. Fill with water up to the 2 cup line, then remove 3 tablespoons of water. This is because the bean sprouts will release moisture! Add the dashida and sake.

  9. 9

Mix it up, then top with the bean sprouts. It may look like a lot, but ... really, don't worry!

  10. 10

Then, put the beef on top! Turn on the switch.

  11. 11

Now it's done cooking! The proper way to eat this is to pour the sauce on as you eat, but today I cooked it all together! Mix it up real well.

Here's a good chance for Piggy (Buudan)'s debut! Nice to meet you!

  13. 13

    But, he's quickly covered up...

  14. 14

Garnish with some all-purpose green onion and/or white sesame seeds, and enjoy! That was easy, right?
