Alpine Leek Consommé Butter Soup

I wondered what alpine leeks would taste like in consommé soup, so I cooked this.

Butter will reduce the bitterness of the alpine leek.
Cook until the bean sprouts are crispy.
If you are not a big fan of the flavour alpine leeks, boil them for a bit longer. Recipe by Chamicyami

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2bunches Alpine leek (Gyoja Ninniku)
  2. 1/2 bagBean sprouts
  3. 5 gramsButter
  4. 3Soup stock cubes
  5. 1 tspSesame oil
  6. 1000 mlWater

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the sesame oil in a pot. Cut the alpine leek into 3-5 cm pieces. Stir-fry the bean sprouts and alpine leek in the pot.

    Add the water and soup stock cubes into the pot. Simmer for about 5 minutes after it comes to a boil. Add butter to finish.
