Crunchy Sesame Seed Cucumbers with an Extra Twist

I made this to satisfy my craving for salt cured cucumbers, and it turned out delicious.

In Step 3, it is essential to wash the cucumbers and cutting board and remove the excess water.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2Cucumbers
  2. 2 pinchSalt
  3. 1 tbsp○ White sesame seeds
  4. 1/2 tsp○ Kombu tea
  5. 1/2 tspSesame oil

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the cucumbers and evenly peel about 4 strips lengthwise to make a striped pattern. Chop off the ends.

    On a cutting board, sprinkle salt on the cucumber, then press down while rolling them with your palm. This will give the cucumbers a nice green color.

    Wash the cutting board and cucumber, wipe excess water with a paper towel, and cut into 1-1.5 cm thickness.

    Put the cucumber slices and the ○ ingredients in a plastic bag and rub evenly. It's ready to serve.

    When making these for packed lunches, useto remove the excess water content.

    When preparing ahead of time for a BBQ, toss with salted kelp powder right before serving.
