This is my "super-lazy salad" that I eat quite frequently. Tofu and mentsuyu somehow go really well with cabbage. I wanted to share one of my healthy recipes with you guys.

It's better to chop up the cabbage rather than shredding it!
Since it's done in a flash, try prepping the tofu just before serving. It'll taste better that way. Please adjust the seasoning to your liking. If it tastes too plain, add a little more mentsuyu to adjust. Recipe by Pabuchan

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 100 gramsSilken tofu
  2. 30 mlMentsuyu (3x concentrate)
  3. 1/2 tspBlack sesame seeds
  4. 100 gramsChopped cabbage

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Roughly chop up the cabbage into 5 mm pieces. Put them nicely into a serving dish.

  2. 2

You don't need to drain the tofu.

  3. 3

Using a spoon, mash the tofu into large pieces. The tofu tastes better if you don't mash it too much. It should still look like tofu.

  4. 4

Add the mentsuyu and mix lightly.

  5. 5

Top the tofu mixture over the cabbage.

  6. 6

Sprinkle on some sesame seeds if you'd like. Done!
