Lettuce and Nori Seaweed Salad with Mentsuyu Sauce and Mayonnaise
I make this salad whenever I have some leftover nori seaweed from an opened packet.I use a 3x concentrated mentsuyu.Adjust the amount of seasonings depending on how watery the vegetables are.I often use chirimen jako (cooked, salted and semi-dried tiny sardines) instead of seaweed. Easy Shallow-Fried Tofu with Mentsuyu
Deep-frying tofu is too much work, so I shallow-fried the tofu. I made it because I wanted to recreate a dish I used to have at a Japanese pub. It's a shame that I didn't have 'momiji oroshi' (spicy grated daikon radish) this time. You only need to fry the top and bottom of the tofu pieces at Step 3. You don't have to fry the sides. It's also delicious with 'momiji oroshi' (spicy grated daikon radish).I recommend eating this with cooked soba noodles. They're pretty tasty together. For 2 servings. Incredibly Simple Pork and Tofu with Mentsuyu
I always make rice bowls with meat, but they started to taste even better after I started adding some tofu too.Feel free to use firm or silken tofu, I personally prefer to use silken.Sprinkle over some green onions at the end for a bit of colour.Top off the rice bowl with any sauce left over in the pan at the end.If the flavour is a bit too thin for you, feel free to add some soy sauce or mirin. Delicious Simmered Meat and Tofu with Mentsuyu
I cooked this dish just because the expiration date of the tofu was approaching. There are no tips or helpful hints. The seasoning is only mentsuyu, so it's very easy!It might be good to sprinkle chopped green onions on top if you like. Recipe by Odorubiwacchi

Tofu and Cabbage Salad
This is my "super-lazy salad" that I eat quite frequently. Tofu and mentsuyu somehow go really well with cabbage. I wanted to share one of my healthy recipes with you guys. It's better to chop up the cabbage rather than shredding it!Since it's done in a flash, try prepping the tofu just before serving. It'll taste better that way. Please adjust the seasoning to your liking. If it tastes too plain, add a little more mentsuyu to adjust. Recipe by Pabuchan

Tofu and Cucumber Salad with Umeboshi-Sesame Dressing
I made this when I was out of dressing. It was really good, so I've been relying on it ever since. This is also good with mizuna greens or green bell peppers instead of cucumber. If you leave it standing for too long the tofu will start to exude moisture, so I recommend making it just before you plan to eat it. For 2 servings. Recipe by naganyo

Carrot and Komatsuna Greens with Mentsuyu and Miso
Parboiling carrots make them very easy to eat, and this dish is is full of nutrition.Adjust the taste depending on the concentration of the mentsuyu. I had excellent results using koji miso. Try varying this recipe with broccolini, spinach, kabocha, etc. Recipe by Tamagomachan

Tofu and Avocado Japanese Salad
When I want to eat avocados, they are not usually ripened enough, then I sometimes miss the perfect time to eat them, so I experimented with sashimi-style dishes and many other dishes, and finally I came up with this recipe that's satisfying. If the diced tofu and avocado are too large, the flavours won't evenly blend in, but if you cut into smaller pieces, the flavours will blend evenly. Smooth Shira-ae Tofu Salad
I love shira-ae, and I wanted to make it easily at home, so I used silken tofu which doesn't need a grinding bowl or a food processor to turn into a smooth paste, as well as all-purpose mentsuyu sauce which gets rid of any need for miso or sesame paste. In order to reduce the amount of water, I use concentrated mentsuyu sauce.Start by draining the water from the tofu first. When the kitchen paper towels become soaked, change them. For 3-4 servings. Recipe by Miashanmama

Mizuna Salad with Tofu Dipping Sauce

I came up with a healthy recipe, which contains a lot of nutritients and that's especially good for women.Lightly flavouring the hijiki seaweed is key.It helps the hijiki seaweed absorb the ponzu better. You can substitute mizuna with lettuce, and it's still delicious. Recipe by Poron526

Tofu and Tomato salad

Sautéed Veggies Dressed with Mentsuyu and Grated Daikon
This recipe brings out the delicious taste of fried vegetables.I wondered if mentsuyu would work for this.If using cherry tomatoes, remove the stem in Step 2 and do not cut in half! The taste of mentsuyu varies among brands, so adjust the flavor after adding the grated daikon.Other ingredients also work well in this recipe, like shishito, green peppers, red bell peppers, chicken, or minced chicken patties.Serve this with chilled noodles! Easy Tofu and Wakame Seaweed Salad
This is a old favorite side dish at my parents' house. We have it a lot alongside rich or spicy dishes like curry rice and gyoza dumplings or oily foods.Use silken or firm tofu, whichever you prefer. If you leave the tofu in water for a while the beany smell will lessen, making it easier to eat. You can use green shiso dressing instead of ponzu sauce. In the summer, some cubed tomato is a delicious addition. Please adjust the amount of ponzu sauce depending on the size of the tofu block. Recipe by cureo

Tofu Soboro and Salad Rice Bowl
I created this recipe because I wanted to make filling dish that doesn't use meat. The key is to cook the tofu well until the moisture is completely evaporated! Draining the tofu in ahead of time reduces the amount of cooking time, but it was troublesome for me, so I didn't bother doing it. Soboro by itself might taste strong, but eating with rice and vegetable make the taste perfect. Recipe by tawamiho

I often prepare this dish for my family, but they don't know how easy this is to make. You only need a small amount of salt and pepper.Make sure to lightly dust the chicken with katakuriko before browning.Since I'm lazy, I don't peel the daikon before grating.
