This is a family favorite. It's also good with somen noodles.

This is a simple meat soboro recipe.
Try adding red chili peppers or doubanjiang if you'd like.
It's nice just with ginger.
It's also delicious if you use minced rakkyo pickles instead of the ginger and garlic.

Ingredients

  1. 200 gramsGround pork
  2. 1 piece★Ginger
  3. 1 clove★Garlic
  4. 2 tbsp★Sake
  5. 11/2-2 tablespoons ★Soy sauce
  6. 1 tbsp★Mirin
  7. 1 tbsp★Sugar
  8. 1/2 tsp★Dashi stock granules
  9. 1Vegetable or sesame oil

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the ginger and garlic. Coat a heated frying pan in oil and cook the ginger and garlic on medium heat.

    Add the pork. Combine the ★ ingredients once the pork has changed color, and stir-fry until the moisture is gone.

  3. 3

    It's also good if you simmer the minced pork instead of stir-frying it. Mix all the ingredients together in a pot and then turn on the heat.
