Cooking Instructions
- 1
Grate the onion, apple, and ginger. Mix in with soy sauce, sake, and mirin.
- 2
Lightly coat the meat with flour on both sides. This helps the sauce evenly coat the meat! Macerate the meat in the sauce if you want to skip this step.
- 3
Heat oil in a pan and brown the meat on both sides. Transfer to a plate. If you macerated the meat, brown the meat, but set the sauce aside.
- 4
After wiping the excess fat from the pan, return the meat to the pan. Add the sauce, simmer, then serve.
- 5
If the meat was macerated, add the sauce after browning the meat. Simmer, then once the sauce is well mixed in, it is done.
- 6
Serve the meat over shredded cabbage.

Delicious Even when You're On a Diet! Pan Fried Ginger Pork Delicious Even when You're On a Diet! Pan Fried Ginger Pork
I thought up this recipe in an attempt to make a small amount of meat look like a lot. The onion is sweet and really delicious. This goes well with rice.I used about 2-3 cm of grated garlic from a tube.Slice the onion thinly so that it cooks fast.I used pork leg, but you can use coarsely chopped off cuts or pork loin. However, pork belly is high in fat (and calories), so I don't recommend it.You can just serve this on its own on a plate, but if you serve it with shredded lettuce or cabbage, it will look more substantial. For 2 servings. Recipe by Upiko cookpad.japan
