Stir-Fried Pork with Shiso Leaves
My mother used to make this dish a lot. She didn't add onions, but I made this new variation to add lots of veggies. The key is not to heat the shiso directly (residual heat is enough). If you are using pre-chopped pork, all you have to do is add it to the pan. This recipe is especially a must when sweet (or new) onions are in season.-Sweet onions cook pretty fast. When you've cooked the meat in Step 3, don't worry about removing it - it's also fine to sauté the sweet onions with the meat still in the pan! For 2 servings. Recipe by Totoro&mei

Stir-fried Pork with Shiso Leaves
A dish inspired by my husband. When taste testing, make sure to choose a well-cooked slice. It tastes very different from serving it as a chilled shabu shabu. This version is mild. Recipe by Soraten mama

Soft Stir Fried and Simmered Sweet Onion and Pork
I always make this when sweet onions are in season. I learned this recipe from my mother, and I still make it.A lot of moisture comes out of the sweet onions, so don't put any water in.If there isn't enough soy sauce, add a little bit at the end.I like to add a lot of shichimi togarashi (chili pepper mix powder) or ichimi togarashi (chili pepper powder). The sweet onions reduce in volume, so you'll want to use at least 2. Pork and Shiso Leaves Stir-Fried with Butter and Soy Sauce
I had a ton of shiso leaves around, so I wanted to use them up!You can add butter at the start too.You can put in as much shiso as you like. The version in the photo has 30 shiso leaves in the stir-fry plus more for garnish, and I wanted to add even more!To be honest, it tastes good even without the pork. Recipe by guemi

Stir-fried Ginger pork with onions
Japanese inspired sliced pork with onions. Infused in a sweet sauce with caramelized onions. Made this as part of a meal prep. I only had a chunk of pork loin in the freezer. Semi-thawing it made it way easier to slice the pork thinly. Learnt something new and love this trick! I made the seasoning stronger as we were pairing it with plain boiled carrots and Bok choy.

Sweet Onion, Cucumber, and Tender Pork Marinade
I had one sweet onion left over in the fridge. Sliced onion was too run of the mill, and I wanted to make a main dish rather than a side dish.Taste at step 5 when you mix everything together! Adjust the sourness, sweetness, and saltiness to your taste. If you add chopped tomato or red peppers, it will become a colorful dish. Recipe by Yakochin

Simple Main Dish with Pork, Onion and Bean Sprouts
I think I saw it in a magazine as a recipe with pork and onions. I made it my way and added the bean sprouts to make it even more delicious.Sprinkling the pork with the katakuriko (potato starch) makes the meat soft. The sauce is just a commercially sold yakiniku (grilled meat) sauce, so it's easy. The crispiness of the bean sprout is its best point so be sure not to over cook it.
