moong dal vada is a bhi.popular snack and loved by all..dal vada can be prepared by any dal ,chanda dal, urad dal, but here I have made yellow moong dal vada..bhi.easy and delicious snack, only few herbs are used in this...you can enjoy this vada with chutney or sauce..do try it...

Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmoong dal(split green gram)
  2. 1 tbspgreen chilli paste
  3. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  4. 1/2 tsphing/asafoetida
  5. as per taste salt
  6. as required oil for deep frying
  7. 1/4 tspeno

Cooking Instructions

    Wash &rinse moong dal thoroughly, soak it for 3-4 hours

    Drain the water add salt as required grind it coarsely in a blender, (batter should be thick not runny)

  3. 3

    Now add in green chilli paste, hing, and eno mix gently, drop the batter little by little in the hot oil with the help of a spoon,

    Fry them until golden brown and crisp, enjoy with any of your favourite dip.. eg: green mint chutney, tomato sauce...
