Low-Sugar: Easy Clear Broth with Tofu and Maitake Mushrooms

This is part of my series of recipes that focuses on delicious, fun, and easy meals.

A delicious broth comes out of the maitake mushrooms, so I used a small amount of dashi stock granules. The nutrition of maitake mushrooms is water soluable, so the liquid is full of it. So, eat a good portion without leaving any leftovers. Maitake mushrooms are awesome because they have zero sugar. Recipe by Ao3150

Ingredients

  1. [For the soup]
  2. 100 grams*Maitake mushrooms
  3. 1 block*Tofu
  4. 5 grams*Dashi stock granules
  5. 1/2 tsp*Soy sauce
  6. 1*Salt
  7. 800 ml*Water
  8. For garnish
  9. 1*Daikon radish sprouts or mitsuba leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sauté the maitake mushrooms and tofu. They'll quickly cook through. Then, just add the seasonings. Transfer to a bowl and garnish as desired.
