Ingredients

  1. 500 glean minced beef
  2. 1onion
  3. 2garlic cloves
  4. 1 stickcelery
  5. 1red pepper
  6. 400 gtinned tomatoes
  7. 1stock cube
  8. 2 tbsptomato purée
  9. 1 tspchopped chillies
  10. 400 gtinned kidney beans
  11. 1 tspcumin
  12. 1 tsppaprika
  13. 1/2 tsporegano
  14. 2bay leaves
  15. 1 tspsugar
  16. 2 tbspnatural yoghurt

Cooking Instructions

    Fry the onion for 1 minute then add the garlic and chopped celery and fry for 1 minute

    Add the mince and fry until browned

  3. 3

    Add the tinned tomatoes, purée, stock cube, herbs and spices

  4. 4

    Simmer for one hour

  5. 5

    Add the kidney beans, red pepper and sugar. Add extra water if necessary and simmer for 30 minutes

  6. 6

    Stir in the yoghurt and serve with rice or see chilli nachos recipe
