This type of spaghetti is really delicious. Pasta Zara No. 3. Once you know about this type, you'll only want to buy it 🙌

Cook the spaghetti. Boil water, and once it's boiling, add the spaghetti. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, then check if the noodles are soft. If they are, drain and rinse with water, then let them dry.

Add a little oil, sauté the onions until fragrant, then add the finely chopped tomatoes and stir until the tomatoes are cooked. Add a little water to prevent it from drying out too much.

Once the tomatoes are soft, add the diced carrots and onions.

Add the ground beef.

Season for one serving: 1 teaspoon chili sauce, 1 teaspoon ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon seasoning powder, 1 teaspoon MSG, 1/2 cup water. This is a basic flavor; if it's too bland, add a little more salt or season to your taste.

Simmer over medium heat so the meat absorbs the seasoning.

Mix 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water and add to the sauce if you want it thicker.

Its summertime and I wanted to make a lentil dinner. Usually I make Lentil Stew but its too hot for that. So I wanted to do something else. I found this recipe in my Forks Over Knives cookbook called Spaghetti with Lentil Ragu. This "meat" sauce is based on that recipe. The recipe calls for diced tomatoes but I chose a can of crushed tomatoes to make a sauce. I also put the lentils through a blender to make the lentils more ground meat like . Cook time about two and a half hours. You can speed up cook time by cooking the mushrooms and onions in a pan prior to putting them in the sauce. This sauce is not a sweet sauce.
