Meat Sauce Spaghetti

Before I would add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce as the finishing touch, but I wanted to make it more simply to enjoy the flavor of the ingredients.
Allow to cool for a moment and the flavor will settle down and become really delicious. For serving 8. Recipe by Babette29

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mince the bacon, celery, onion, carrot, and garlic.
- 2
Pour olive oil and the garlic in a deep pan and heat. Add vegetables and cook for 30 minutes over low heat to bring out their flavors.
- 3
Increase the heat and add the ground meat. It's more like grilling than cooking. Spread it out and don't mess with the meat much.
- 4
Add the red wine, and cook off the alcohol.
- 5
Add the canned tomatoes, cubed soup stock, and basil and boil for about an hour.
- 6
Season with salt, pepper, and butter to taste. Add milk as the finishing touch.
- 7
Top over boiled pasta and you're done.

My children love meat sauce. If you use canned chopped tomatoes, you can make meat sauce easily. It can be used on pasta, in gratin and many other things. It can be frozen too.The key is to add a piece of curry roux. Children will love this too. Recipe by notyet cookpad.japan -

This bolognese pasta is full of the taste of Italian home cooking.Cooling the sauce down completely after its made enhances its flavor. You can make a half portion of this recipe by reducing all the ingredients by half, but I think it is convenient to make a bunch and divide it and freeze them it for later use. Spaghetti with "Meat" Sauce Spaghetti with "Meat" Sauce
Its summertime and I wanted to make a lentil dinner. Usually I make Lentil Stew but its too hot for that. So I wanted to do something else. I found this recipe in my Forks Over Knives cookbook called Spaghetti with Lentil Ragu. This "meat" sauce is based on that recipe. The recipe calls for diced tomatoes but I chose a can of crushed tomatoes to make a sauce. I also put the lentils through a blender to make the lentils more ground meat like . Topping it with cheddar cheese really finished it off perfectly. I hope you'll like it as much as my family did. Debbie -
