Ingredients

4 people
  1. 1whole chicken
  2. 1/2 cupOnions
  3. 1/2 cupwater
  4. 1 tbspPowdered chilli
  5. Seasoning and salt to taste
  6. 2 cupsScotch bonnet and bell peppers(blended)
  7. Vegetable oil (for deep frying and pepper sauce)
  8. 1 tbspcurry and thyme
  9. Grated ginger and garlic (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    First,wash the chicken,cut to desired sizes and place in a pot.

    Add half the onions, quarter the pepper,half the seasoning and salt, half the ginger and garlic, all the curry and thyme, ¼ cup of water and give it a proper stir.

    Cover properly with plastic wrap and let to marinate for about 10 minutes.

    Place on low heat and let to cook till done.

    Strain and keep aside.

    In a pan of hot oil fry the chicken till golden brown but not crispy

    In another pan,add one cooking spoon of oil and let to heat.

    Add the remaining onions and fry till golden brown.

    Add the pepper and ginger and garlic and let to saute.

    Now add all the remaining seasonings and leave for a few minutes.

    Add the chicken and mix properly.

    Your peppered chicken is ready to serve. Enjoy 🤗
