I added lil organic Turmeric to the paste to give this dish a NEXT LEVEL AROMA AND TASTE,at the same time using up my beetcarrot paste in the freezer

Ingredients

  1. 500 gRice
  2. Beetcarrot paste 1cksp
  3. Sunflower Oil 11/2 cksp
  4. Tomato Puree 2 cksp
  5. 1 tspOnga Classic Seasoning Powder
  6. 1 tspCurry Powder
  7. 1 CupMeat Stock
  8. 1/2 tspGrated Turmeric
  9. Diced Onions
  10. 1/2 tspThyme
  11. Salt to tadte
  12. Water(controlled)

Cooking Instructions

    Wash rice,drain,set aside

  2. 2

    Heat up pot, add oil, when hot, add onions on med heat, stirfry 1min

  3. 3

    Now,add tomato puree,stirfry on low heat 2 mins,till oil floats

  4. 4

    Add stock and 3Cups of water,add Curry, onga Classic Seasoning Powder, beetcarrot paste, turmeric,bring to boil

  5. 5

    Next,add rice,reduce flame,before water dries up,taste to adjust with any ingredient of choice, including salt

  6. 6

    Cook till soft and water dries up,either by adding lil more water or covering with shiny part of foil paper for about 10-15 mins, till done and soft on low heat

    Plate and ebjoy

    You may add protein of choice
