Whether it is veggie or meat or both. This food is a camping essential due to its simplicity and delicious nature because fire!! Although this is more of a snack/appetizer than a meal.

Mind you they are not in the form of an actual skewer but a toothpick is close right?

Ingredients

30 mins
4 people
  1. 1 PackWhite Button Mushrooms
  2. 1 PackBacon
  3. Mozzarella
  4. Toothpicks

Cooking Instructions

30 mins
  1. 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

*This is in case you do not own a BBQ Grill or are camping. I highly recommend doing this on an open grill or a campfire over a cooking rack.

  2. 2

Clean the Mushrooms and remove the stem.

  3. 3

Take the Mozzarella and stuff it inside the Mushroom.

  4. 4

Wrap 2 - 3 slices of Bacon around the Mushroom so that the Mozzarella doesn’t escape. Poke a Toothpick through the Wrapped Mushroom so that Bacon stays in place.

  5. 5

Put the Skewers onto a baking sheet and let them bake for 15 - 20 mins or until Bacon layer is crispy.
