I was able to get some fresh organic basil, so I came up with a recipe to use it.

Basil Flavored Hummus

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 133 mlFresh basil (tightly packed)
  2. 2 cloveGarlic
  3. 4 tbspExtra virgin olive oil
  4. 4 tbspTahini (white sesame paste)
  5. 4 tbspLemon juice
  6. 2 tbspWater
  7. 850 gramsChickpeas (canned or boiled)
  8. 1 tspSalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add all of the ingredients, except the chickpeas and salt, into the food processor. Mix until smooth.

  2. 2

    Add the chickpeas and salt, and continue mixing. Taste the flavor and adjust with salt as needed.

  3. 3

    Infuse with love and gratitude and serve with chips, vegetable sticks, etc.
