[Baby Food Late Stage] Microwave Hand-Held Omelet

No oil! No seasonings! This omelet is easy for babies to eat with their hands. It can be a standalone dish and is perfect for lunch on the go. The origin of this recipe: I often have lunch with my mom friends, but the challenge is always the baby's meal... I wanted something that could be frozen in portions and eaten after natural thawing, so I created this. Pack this omelet with frozen broccoli and bread, and your lunchbox is ready!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Finely chop the vegetables into slightly larger pieces. If using carrots or daikon, thin quarter slices are also fine.
- 2
Microwave the vegetables (500W) for 1-2 minutes until they are easy to chew. Cut the cheese into cubes, beat the eggs well, and mix everything together.
- 3
Line a plate with plastic wrap and pour the mixture from step 2 onto it. Cover loosely with the overhanging wrap or a new piece of wrap.
- 4
Microwave (500W) for 2 minutes. If the center of the omelet is set, it's done! If not, continue heating in 10-second increments.
- 5
Flip the omelet onto a plate with the wrap and let it cool. Once it has cooled slightly, cut it into pieces. Be careful, as it won't cut cleanly if it's too hot!
- 6
If it becomes dry when frozen, add a mixture of water and cornstarch to step 2. Guide: 2 teaspoons water, 1 teaspoon cornstarch.

Microwave Low-Cal Vegetable Spanish Omelet Microwave Low-Cal Vegetable Spanish Omelet
I love Spanish omelets (Tortilla de patatas) but frying is so annoying, plus the kitchen gets messy and cleaning up is so much work. So I came up with this slightly low-calorie and more convenient method. The cooking time will vary depending on your microwave, so adjust accordingly. For my microwave, 8 minutes was fine. When flipping over the omelet, place the one-sided browned omelet on a flat plate larger than the omelet itself, and then flip it so that the uncooked side can brown in the frying pan. If you use this method, I don't think you can mess up. Recipe by Spain cookpad.japan -

Easy in the Microwave Spanish Omelette Easy in the Microwave Spanish Omelette
Spanish omelettes are usually large frying pan size, but I wanted to make a small one easily without any oil, so I came up with this.Use a bowl that is around the same size as that listed. If the ingredients overflow in Step 2, just remove them. Adjust the cooking time to suit your microwave. This contains simple ingredients, so season it well with salt and pepper You can use satoimo (taro) instead of potato. It's tasty. Recipe by Momokito cookpad.japan -
For Bentos: Easy Microwave Tamagoyaki (Rolled Omelette) For Bentos: Easy Microwave Tamagoyaki (Rolled Omelette)
Ever since I came up with this method, I haven't used a frying pan to make tamagoyaki.I used a 10 cm x 6 cm (height) plate for this. If you use a plate that's too big, the omelette won't be very thick, so I recommend using a bowl shaped one. If the omelette comes out too tough, try adding a little more hot water the next time, or adjusting the microwave cooking time. Recipe by Nyamiane cookpad.japan -
Omelet Mi Instan (Instant Noodle Omelet) Omelet Mi Instan (Instant Noodle Omelet)
Yeah, so instant noodles aren't healthy... if you eat them everyday, that is. We rarely eat them. Once or twice a month, maybe. I think this year I've only eaten instant noodles less than five times... well anyway, instant noodles can be upgraded into tasty dishes like omelets, pizza, and the like. You can add corned beef or other meat to this recipe as well. Top the omelet with grated cheddar or parmesan for more oomph! Angela Mertoyono -
