Yogurt soup
Hey there!!! How is everyone doing? I am fine having fun with my friend this week, sightseeing and just catching up on things. Tammy a couple of days ago decided that she was going to cook a Yogurt Soup Recipe from her native country Georgia (not the US), I was quite surprised to hear that a Yogurt Soup recipe even existed. 🙂 When she finished making the soup it was time to taste it. I was curious…very curious, I took the first sip and guess what!!! it was a delicious surprise, it reminded of the Greek Egg Sauce that we use in our Greek Chicken Soup. 🙂At first when she mentioned that she was going to be cooking Yogurt Soup I was a bit hesitant, but then I thought it would be a new taste, it has Yogurt in it so I have to give it a try. It is such a light soup and from what she told me this is a great option if you are on a diet. This is why I love cooking and baking, you learn about so many beautiful recipes that exist in other cultures, and it is always a wonderful surprise. 🙂Today, is her last day before she heads back home tomorrow, I have to admit I am sad and happy at the same time, it was great having her here and we had a fantastic time together visiting Museums, Amsterdam, and many other places. 🙂

Cold Beet and Kefir (or Yogurt) Soup with Mint, Ham Salt, and Cheese Crisps
I’m sharing this slightly modified and, in my opinion, improved recipe. It was one of the first I uploaded, and I had been meaning to update the photo and tweak it a bit. This is a super quick and healthy recipe. The ham salt and cheese crisp are optional, but they add a fun touch to the dish if you feel like making them. Have a great weekend!

Persian Cucumber Soup
This easy and tasty dip is very popular during the summer time. In my recipe ingredients apart from yogurt and cucumber includes dill but some people like to use other types of herbs such as chives or mint as well.I like dill because first of all, this herbal plant has very beautiful soft taste and flavorful and secondly rich in vitamin A, vitamin C and very good to control blood cholesterol. If you add dill to your chicken or meat dishes, it gives wonderful flavor to your meals . Also it is great to freshly chopped and add to your salad. You can use dill freshly or keep dried dill to use in Winter time.#soup#Persian_soup#cold_Soup

Cucumber Yogurt Appetizer
An appetizer is one of the essential menus for our family. But sometimes, an appetizer or salad also becomes our main menu when it comes to us on a diet mode.An appetizer also another quick and simple healthy food for the people on a diet and reducing the carbs. An appetizer or salad can replace the carbs from the main menu. This recipe I expand from my mother in law recipes. In Turkish, we called it "Cacık ." It is like Ayran (buttermilk) drinks, but if ayran is bare, it is making from water, yogurt, and salt. But for Cacık, some more fresh ingredients are added, like cucumber and dry mint. But in this recipe I share, this is not Cacik, not Ayran, because I didn't add the water, so it is a pure appetizer, not drinks.Bon appetite, and Happy trying! Raisin Yogurt
I love raisin butter, but I can't help eating too much of it.If I use yogurt instead, I don't have to worry if my kids gorge themselves on it!!I made this with plain yogurt, and the result was thick and rich tasting.Make sure to drain off the yogurt whey completely. You can adjust the amount of raisins, but the raisins absorb moisture from the yogurt, so the final texture will differ if you add more or less than the recipe.Other dried fruits are delicious in this too. You can omit the salt if you prefer. Recipe by saco mama
