Ingredients

5-6 servings
  1. Andouille Sausage
  2. 1/3-1/2 (1 Box)Large Elbow Noodles
  3. 2 cupsCheddar Cheese
  4. 1 cupMilk
  5. 1/4 CupSour cream/ Greek yogurt
  6. 2 tbspSalted Butter
  7. 2 tbspFlour
  8. 1/4 tspGarlic Salt
  9. 1/2 tspSalt & Pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Boil your noodles and set them to the side.

    Pull out all the remaining ingredients. Combine flour, sea salt, and garlic salt in a small bowl

    Make your roux. In a medium saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter.

    Add flour mixture to butter and whisk until slightly brown. (Appr 1min)

    Add milk and mix till smooth

  6. 6

    Add your sour cream (or yogurt both work well) and mix till smooth

  7. 7

    Cook till mixture has thickened (approximately 3-5min) when mixture is thick enough to stick to the back of spatula reduce heat to low and add cheese until smooth. Add salt, pepper, & garlic salt as desired.

    Cook your andouille sausage for a few minutes in a pan then slice into small cubes.

    Combine noodles, cheese, & sausage into a large bowl and enjoy!
