Buffalo Chicken Flatbread

Ingredients

  1. 1-2chicken breasts, trim fat & cut in smaller chunks
  2. 3-4 cupswater
  3. 1 Tbschicken billion
  4. 1/2 tspCreole seasoning (optional)
  5. 1 tspsalt free garlic & herb seasoning
  6. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  7. 1/2 blockroom temperature cream cheese
  8. 8 ozshredded mozzarella cheese
  9. 1/2red onion, sliced
  10. 4-6flatbreads (I used Greek ones in bread aisle)
  11. Optional: grated Parmesan cheese to taste
  12. Buffalo sauce
  13. 3/4 cupfavorite red hot sauce
  14. 1 stickbutter
  15. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  16. 1/4 tspblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Combine all hot sauce ingredients into a sauce pan. Heat over medium heat, occasionally stirring over medium heat. Once all combined & starts to boil, turn off heat & mix, let cool. Place water in saucepan with seasonings and let come to a boil.

    Hot sauce will look like this. Once water boils, add chicken chunks into water & let boil 20min. Drain & shred chicken. Add any extra seasoning if needed. Preheat oven to 425.

    Toss chicken in buffalo sauce. Spread cream cheese over flatbreads.

    Drizzle a little buffalo sauce over the cream cheese. Add chicken, red onions & cheese. Place flat breads directly on oven rack for 7-9 minutes. If you want a soft crust place on pan for 9-11 minutes.
