Aubergine Sauce with Saffron Rice Aubergine Sauce with Saffron Rice
This may be the most awesome dish I've ever made: it's spicy, sweet and tangy. There are quite a few steps and ingredients but it is well worth it. The saffron-berry rice compliments the vegetable sauce perfectly red.queen -
Rice stuffed peppers with mint yogurt sauce Rice stuffed peppers with mint yogurt sauce
I've had nicer stuffed peppers, but this is still pretty yummy. I like an extra kick so I add chilli, but it really doesn't need it. Peppers can be reheated but are better eaten fresh. Saffie La Rue -

Doria (Rice Gratin) with Curry Pilaf and White Sauce Doria (Rice Gratin) with Curry Pilaf and White Sauce
I like the combination of curry-flavoured pilaf and white sauce. I made curry pilaf earlier so I made this dish too. By adding tomatoes and broccoli, you can boost the nutrient content of the dish.During Step 3 as you add the milk, it will be a bit thick but will gradually thin out. Stir the sauce constantly over low heat and you won't get any lumps. Instead of fresh tomatoes, you can use canned tomatoes. Just pop some into the middle of the sauce. For 2 servings. Thinly Sliced Pork & Mango Sauce with Rice Thinly Sliced Pork & Mango Sauce with Rice
I usually make a lot like when I'm making hayashi rice, and then eat it the next day too.-I used thinly sliced shoulder roast this time.-Step 8: Be careful not to let it simmer for too long.-Step 9: If the saltiness is just right, then just season with pepper.-There will be less liquid in the leftovers, so it's better to heat it up in the microwave than on the stove. Rice Gratin with Easy Homemade Bechamel Sauce Rice Gratin with Easy Homemade Bechamel Sauce
I've been making this rice gratin (doria) for some time. I always used to eyeball the ingredients, so I measured them properly for when my daughter wants to make it.When making the bechamel sauce, add the milk all at once and raise the heat to high, and just keep mixing and mixing until it starts bubbling! That's it! If you add cheese, the sauce will become richer! Leftover sauce can be used to make a special croque-monsieur for breakfast!! Recipe by Naomoka cookpad.japan -
Singapore Chicken Rice with Ginger Sauce Singapore Chicken Rice with Ginger Sauce
The Singapore chicken rice with ginger sauce I had at a cafe was so delicious. So I came up with this recipe to make it easily at home. You don't need to use fresh coriander if you don't like it! (Actually, I don't like it myself.)You can use boiled chicken instead of cooking it with the rice! The boiled chicken has a firmer texture, so choose whichever you like. Sauce Katsu Rice Bowl Sauce Katsu Rice Bowl
Ever since I had a delicious sauced katsu-don at a highway stop restaurant when I was visiting my parents, I've been going to the same restaurant every time I go home, so I tried re-creating it. (Although it doesn't really live up to the original...)It is easier to eat if you alternate the fatty sides of the pork roast slices as you layer them, so that the fat does not end up in one lump. The number of slices will depend on the thickness, so adjust accordingly. I used 3 pieces for my husband and 2 for myself. Layered sliced pork is more tender and easier to eat. You can also sandwich sliced cheese for a change. Of course, you can use store bought tonkatsu if you like! For 2 servings. Recipe by Suirin cookpad.japan
