Ingredients

15-20mins
  1. 250 gZobo Leaves(pieces)
  2. 2Pineapple Med Size
  3. Cloves 1tsp
  4. Grated Unpeeled Ginger 1tbs
  5. Dried Dates 500g
  6. Water 5-6litres
  7. Sugar 4tbs(optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sterilize date and pineapple rinse well,also rinse zobo leaves with plenty water once,add 1 cup of water to a pit to cook the dates,,cook dates till soft,strain and keep the water,it us also rich in nutrients..

    Next,peel the pineapple,set the peels aside,chop the pulp as we will blend it later with pitted dates

    Add zobo leaves, cloves pineapple peels,water to a pot,cook till it boils well,once it boils,turn off heat,add grated ginger,stir well,let it steep 15mins

    Now strain with a cheese cloth, carefully,remove cheese cloth,next blend pineapple &date with about 3-4cups of water,you can use a juicer too,strain or sieve,if you decide to blend

    Add the fruit&nut juice to warm zobo mix well,also the date water when cooked,

    Mix and taste to adjust with lil sugar if desired

  7. 7

    Transfer to containers or bottles when it's cool completely,store in fridge

  8. 8

    Drink as desired,stay healthy ❤️
