Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsWheat Flour
  2. 1 cupBrown Sugar
  3. 1 cupMilk or as required
  4. 1/4 cupButter
  5. 2 teaspoonLemon juice
  6. 1Egg
  7. 1/2 teaspoonBaking powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoonSalt
  9. 1/4 cupCranberries
  10. 1/4 cupchopped Walnuts
  11. To Garnish
  12. 1/2 teaspoonLemon zest/Lemon juice
  13. 1/2 teaspoonIcing Sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Take all ingredients together. In a bowl, add milk, eggs and lemon juice.

    Whisk until well combined and set aside. Now, in a separate bowl, add seived wheat flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix it well.

    Combine dry and wet ingredients altogether. Add chopped walnuts and cranberries. Mix well and pour in the baking dish.

    Bake for 15 minutes.

    Take it out and allow to come at room temperature. Garnish with lemon zest and icing sugar.

    Split and slice the bread. Serve warm with a hot cup of tea.

    Note - Opt any butter you like either peanut butter/nutella or any organic.
