So I decided a different take for my porridge yam since I was tired of the usual way I cook it. It turned out nice though so I thought to share.
You can tweak the ingredients the way you want.

So I decided a different take for my porridge yam since I was tired of the usual way I cook it. It turned out nice though so I thought to share.

Ingredients

  1. 1medium sized yam
  2. 2green bell pepper
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1bulb onions
  5. 2 tbspepper
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1and half soup spoon of oil
  8. Smoked fish

Cooking Instructions

    Peel your yam and cut in cubes. Wash and put in a pot, add a little water till it covers the yam add salt and leave to cook.

    Wash and debone your fish, cut your onions and bell pepper.

  3. 3

    In a frying pan, pour in your red oil, allow to heat up not bleach oh.

    Once hot, put your onions, green pepper and smoked fish.

  5. 5

    Keep stirring, add pepper. Keep storing till the fish is abit dried.

    Once the yam is cooked and the water has dried abit, pour in the sauce and put your maggi.

  7. 7

    Mix well and check for salt and pepper, leave to boil for like 3 mins.

    Turn off your heat and food is ready to be eaten.
