Salt and Pepper Squid

This is a different way of cooking Salt and Pepper. Im not sure if this was done like this before, but I just though of this now. Less transfers, less effort, less dishes. Hehehe

The outcome is actually delicious. My hubby cant tolerate spices so I did not add chopped red peppers. You can add red peppers for a bit of sizzle.

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 kgsquid rings
  2. 1 tbspiodized salt
  3. 1 tbspall-purpose flour
  4. 1/2 cupcold water
  5. 1 smallonion, chopped
  6. 4 clovegarlic, chopped
  7. 1 tbspground black pepper
  8. 1 clovegreen onion
  9. 1/4 cupcooking oil

Cooking Instructions

    Evenly sprinkle iodized salt on squid rings to taste.

    On high heat, stir fry squid until cooked on a non stick pan using 1 tsp cooking oil. If you are using a non stick wok, use 2tbsp cooking oil to stir fry vigorously (like chinese style stirfry).

    Add onions until transparent. Then add garlic

    Dissolve flour into cold water. And pour into the pan.

    Heat until water evaporates. Then turn fire to medium heat. Then add grounded black pepper. Mix well.

    Pour in the cooking oil and fry.

    Mix in green onions and quickly serve.

Yes, I get hungry for it. We went to olive gardens with a friend. I wanted Squid Salad. It has never been nor will it ever be on their menu..
