Honey White Bread

Cooking Instructions
- 1
In large bowl, mix warm water and yeast.
- 2
Add milk, honey, salt, and butter.
- 3
Add 4 cups of flour and mix well. Add in enough remaining flour to make a dough that follows the spoon around the bowl.
- 4
Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes, adding more flour as needed until the dough is firm and smooth to the touch.
- 5
Place dough in medium greased bowl. Turn dough over in bowl so that the top is also lightly greased. Cover with clean cloth and let rise in warm, draft-free place for 1 hour.
- 6
Punch down dough. Turn dough out onto lightly floured board and knead for 5 minutes or until the bubbles are out of the bread.
- 7
Divide dough into 2 equal parts. Shape each dough half into a loaf.
- 8
Place each loaf in greased, 9 X 5-inch bread pan. Cover and let rise in warm, draft-free place for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
- 9
Bake bread at 350°F for 40 minutes or until bread top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when the top is tapped. Remove breads from pans and let cool on rack.

Basic White Bread Basic White Bread
I "developed" this recipe by first learning how to bake using a food processor and then graduating to a stand mixer. I had no idea what the dough was supposed to look like, feel like, how long to knead, or anything. Through random YouTube videos and many failed attempts I finally made something I am proud of. Here it is! Jacob Allord -

Buttermilk White Bread Buttermilk White Bread
My husband is bread lover. And in this situation of self quarantine #stayhome because of the Covid-19 spreading everywhere, we won’t take a chance to go to grocery or bakery just to get the bread. So this is my 1st time of making bread ever. At first I feel nervous because I am going to use buttermilk powder instead of buttermilk. Long short story before the city’s lockdown we couldn’t find any buttermilk or milk at the store. Luckily we got dry cultured buttermilk powder. We just grabbed and brought it home. At that moment we just think “we rather have it and not need it than need it but don’t have it”. So now I have to think how to use it and to not waste it. And here’s I present my homemade buttermilk bread from my kitchen using cultured buttermilk powder. Nia Hiura -
