Ingredients

  1. 2 kgmutton leg, cut into 1inch cubes
  2. 4 clove
  3. 4pepper corns
  4. 1inch cinnamon stick
  5. 1 1/2 tspsalt (accordingly)
  6. 1 1/2 cupwarm water
  7. 2 largeonion, chopped
  8. 4 largetomatoes (chopped up)
  9. 1 tspcummin seeds
  10. 6 tbspsunflower oil
  11. 2 cloveminced garlic
  12. 3 tbspmince ginger
  13. 4chopped green chillies
  14. 1 1/2 tspgaram masala
  15. 1hot water as needed
  16. 1 1/2 tspcurry powder

Cooking Instructions

    Pressurize the mutton in 1.5 glasses of water and salt for 15minutes

    Strain the water from the mutton and keep aside. Put oil in a pot, add cinnamon, cumin, pepper corns and cloves then add onions and brown them (not golden, but dark brown.. Try not to burn) add garlic and ginger

    Add the tomatoes, salt, green chillies and curry powder and cook until it looks like a paste. Add the mutton and the water. Add 1.5 glasses hot water and cover.. Allow to simmer for 15minutes then add garam masala
