Slow Cooker Curry Chicken
I have tried so many recipes; from the slow cooker to the regular stovetop. None of them were any good. Either the sauce was too watery, too thick, there was no flavor, etc.As is my MO in life, I decided to do my usual routine and pick & choose from different recipes. My wife and I finally came up with this recipe. We love it and wanted to share it. Hopefully, you will too!Enjoy!

Mangshor Korma (Bengali Mutton Curry)
#reststyle - This is a traditional Bengali style Mutton Korma / curry, where I have used large chunks of potatoes, as it is well known, Bengalis love them in each and every dish. And to think of preparing a mutton curry without it, is not easily digestible. Mangsho /Mutton is a very popular sunday menu in almost all Bengali bones and is equally relished in all Bengali restaurants too. Here in this particular version of mine, I added some roasted fresh coconut and fried onion along with the usual ingredients to make the dish more rich and aromat. It is relished either with plain steamed rice, poori or chapati. There is no ham in trying it out with jeera rice, khushka, naan, tandoori roti or any Indian bread. There are obviously many versions to this dish, where yoghurt or poppy seeds are also added according to individual preference.

Found this on the Perdue.com website and it came out great!

Pakistani Lamb Curry (Dumbay ki Nihari)
Modified from the recipe on Saveur. This recipe makes a curried lamb in a pressure cooker that cooks in an hour and falls apart in a spiced sauce. You could make this in a dutch oven instead, but it will take longer. The masala is made from whole spices, but you can substitute store bought. Serve over turmeric rice with minced cilantro and raita. I make my raita with curried fermented limes and Greek yogurt

Achar gosht (pickled mutton curry)
Its spicy, tangy, pickled curry would rock your taste buds. I used to make it with ready made packet masala few years back. But now I use my own spices to make this for special occasions. The pickle spices and the aroma of achar gosht will make your loved ones tummy roll.

Mung Bean Curry
It is that time of the year where I fast for Maasi Magam which means I don't drink or eat from dawn to dusk - which leaves me with technically one meal a day, and that meal has to be vegetarian.I then researched to see what is best for me to consume and I have settled for Mung Beans. Mung beans, can be a nutritious part of a weight loss diet as it provides protein and fiber, the two satiating nutrients that can help control hunger. I've opted to give it a shot and made a big batch to last me for at least 5 days.

Chaa Gosht (Mutton Curry - Himachali Style)
This is a very delicious mutton curry from the hill state of Himachal Pradesh. Mild in flavour, it is cooked in a buttermilk and roasted gram flour based gravy with a wide array of aromatic spices. It is cooked in mustard oil for that authentic touch and is relished with any type of Indian bread or rice. So follow a step by step method with photos to prepare it.

Chicken Curry
My little ones love the taste and flavour of my chicken curry and they are always asking for daddy’s chicken curry 😊The curry is medium hot however it can be made more hotter and spicier by more chilli and whole spices.Served best with rice and yoghurt. Can also be served with Roti. This recipe can serve 4-6 people.Leftovers can be put in the fridge and can be eaten up 3 days from when the chicken curry is made.

Tenderest Beef Curry
I was looking for something different to do with a roast I had in the freezer and this didn't disappoint. I borrowed a technique from Kenji Lopez-Alt in caramelizing the onions. Adding the water allows the Maillard reactions (responsible for browning) evenly and without burning the onions, resulting in sweet, savory onions. I used top sirloin, but you can use any large roast for this recipe, chuck might actually stand up better to the low, slow cooking. Try to use the freshest spices you can scrounge up!

Rainy or sunny Sunday lunches are meant to be great , this desi murgh recipe is by heart best eaten with rice/pulao.#chicken#lunch#masala#indian#gravy

Lentil curry #myfavouritecurry
What inspired me to make this lentil curry is the fact that my mom never ever makes brown lentils which I love, because she complains about the long cooking time and all the gas it has haha and also she makes food super fast like 10-20 minutes (I'm not even lying). I decided to give my mom, who is a mother of 6 a rest for the day and cook up something wholesome for our family. Everybody loves lentils but nobody ever dared to make it in our home😂 lucky I did and it turned out pretty delicious! Served with fried potatoes, flatbread, and chicken meatballs. Almost 24 hours later and they're still raving about the food so it was definitely a hit!!

Chickpea Curry
This is a very fragrant dish and if you don't have whole spices such as cinnamon sticks, you can use ground (so you don't have to worry whether they'll get in your bowl). However, I find that whole cardamom pods and fresh ginger are a must

Slow Cooker Thai Green Curry Chicken
I love Thai food. My friend from Thailand, would either make some for me or take me to his cousin's restaurant. I used to make this recipe all of time on the stove, but once we got our slow cooker, I decided to try it in there. For this, I added spinach and carrots. I would have eaten this with just the carrots. Something amazing happened to them.Serve with rice or noodles.Enjoy!
