Ugali, Vegetable and Fish stew in milk

I cooked this from my friends from Uganda and South Sudan.They said am a great cook so I guess it was very delicious(oishii desu)

Ingredients

  1. 4 piecesFish fillets or cut fish
  2. Milk half a glass
  3. Diced onion and diced tomatoes
  4. 1 teaspoonRoyco
  5. Halfa teaspoon of salt
  6. Any other spice like diced bell peppers,dhania,
  7. 2 tablespoonscooking oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a pot add the cooking oil and let it heat for a few seconds and then add the onions and other spices like bell peppers and kitungu saumu. Stir for a few minutes and add the diced tomatoes and stir after a two minutes add the Royco and stir.

    Add the fish to the mix and stir so that the mixture and the fish blend together,add the salt and stir for two more minutes. Finally add the milk and a half a cup of water to the mixture. Stir for two minutes then leave it cooking for five to ten minutes while continuously checking to see if it's ready. Finally stir one more then remove from heat

    Serve each on a plate,with Ugali and vegetables. As shown above.
