Ingredients

  1. 6 eachEgg yolks
  2. 2 tbspCake flour
  3. 8 tbspSugar
  4. 1 cupMilk
  5. 4 tspSalted Butter
  6. 1/2 tbspVanilla extract

Cooking Instructions

    Whisk egg yolks , sugar , vanilla extract and flour together until well-combined.

    Simmer milk and butter over low heat. Do not cook the milk but just let the milk becomes hot and the butter is melted.

    When the milk mixture is ready , pour in egg yolk mixture little at a time and whisk the mixture while adding the milk.

    Strain back into the pot.

    On a low heat , whisk your custard continuously until it thickens.

    Remove from the heat and pour it a heat-proof bowl.

  7. 7

    Enjoy! Serve as a dipping sauce for biscuits and bread of your choice.
