Unstuffed Cabbage

Stuffing cabbage is very time consuming. One pan meals are my go to.

This was a new recipe for me. I had never even had stuffed cabbage so I just winged it. I thought it turned out very delicious... I ended up eating all of it in 2 days (by myself!) I'd say it would make approximately 3 servings if serving as is. 6 servings if served over rice.

A friend of mine was telling me how he missed his grandmother’s stuffed cabbage. I was like, “What’the you say”? So he started describing it and I thought it sounded pretty good. I decided to give it a shot with Napa Cabbage... although I’m sure it’s traditionally made with Green Cabbage.

I grew up on polish cabbage rolls; so I decided to try making them inside out; something different; to my surprise it still had the same good old taste I love...hope y'all enjoy!

Well I think I stuffed so many vegetables, so it was the Cabbages turn. This was a $ .50 cabbage, for the whole head. A simple recipe. The hardest thing to do was hollowing out the cabbage.

Had 3/4 head of cabbage and some sausage and hamburger, and pantry items.

One of my favorite meals as a child was my Grandmother Donahue's stuffed cabbage rolls. This is my version of her recipe for the crockpot. I love cooked cabbage so I just chopped it instead of rolling the meat in the cabbage leaves.
