**Warning...this is not a replacement for stuffed cabbages! I think it needs more tomato flavor.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 TEVOO
  2. 1 lbground beef
  3. 1small onion, chopped
  4. 1 can (14 1/2 oz)crushed tomatoes
  5. 1/2 tspsea salt
  6. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  7. 1small head green cabbage, chopped (16 oz)
  8. 3/4 cwater
  9. 1/2 cheavy whipping cream

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In large pot, heat oil. Brown beef and onions until beef is no longer pink and onions are translucent.

  2. 2

    Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper. Add coleslaw and water and mix well. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 min. or until cabbage is done.

  3. 3

    Remove from heat and stir in sour cream if using. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper if desired.
